Once the car stopped on Potee Street near W. Jeffrey Street in Baltimore, officers searched the car, according to police.

Officers arrested the driver, Keyon Rashard Robert Taylor, 29, of Baltimore, who was found to be in possession of a Jimenez Arms Inc. Model JAT .380 caliber handgun with an obliterated serial number and approximately 214 grams of suspected marijuana, police said.

Soon after, around 11:55 p.m., officers conducted a second traffic stop, this time on Ritchie Highway near Cedar Hill Boulevard in Brooklyn Park, on a gray Hyundai Elantra, police said.

A "probable cause search" yielded around 843 grams of suspected marijuana, approximately 42 grams of crack cocaine, three digital scales, packaging material, and $1,544 in cash, according to police.

Officers subsequently arrested Jerome Edward Lewis, 34, and Kayla Adameria Carter, 32, both of Glen Burnie.
